Hello, thank you for visiting the Journey of the Slim Soul website.

My name is Anges de Lumiere and I am the author of a book called the Journey of the Slim Soul. I decided to write this book when I couldn't find on the market any satisfying holistic approach to slimming which would embrace my mind body and soul.

I wanted to share what I learnt and to deconstruct some very harmful beliefs that are perpetuated by the dieting industry. I wanted to offer a path where you could use:

• complementary therapies,
• detox programmes,
• essential oils,
• crystals,
• feng shui,
• the law of attraction,
• Back flower remedies, and
• journalling

to support yourself emotionally as you un-learnt some unhelpful beliefs and habits on your journey to a slimmer body.

I have lost two dress sizes three years ago, after my third pregnancy, and have kept it off.  I walk the talk. I am not an expert who is trying to teach you anything, I am a friend who has been possibly through what you have been going through. I have, however, qualifications as I am a practising clinical hypnotherapist, a reiki master, an Emotional Freedom Technique practitioner, an intuitive reader and a medium.

Welcome to the Journey of the slim soul, which will teach you joy and inspiration. I will show you how you can slim without declaring war on yourself.

The Journey of the Slim Soul rests on 7 Golden Rules of slimming and a very simple and sound philosophy. It's no good saying to yourself when I am slimmer, I will be happier. Happiness is a choice and feeling good about yourself must start now.
